Not for profit organization
Keshia Knight Pulliam has been a role model in support of young people for generations. Her continued public presence both on and off the big screen has given her the platform to influence all those who see and follow her. Recognizing the absence of positive imagery of young people in addition to knowing firsthand the significance positive women can have on their lives, Keshia felt compelled to establish Kamp Kizzy a non-profit foundation design to empower their spirits. With the development of Kamp Kizzy, Keshia has made a commitment to remain an active participant in the lives of young people.
Camp is a special time in a young person’s life. It’s a time to experience new things and give shape to new ideas. Our goal is to bring youth together to learn from each other and to challenge one another to dream big, think big and accomplish big.
At Kamp Kizzy the youth are encouraged to be creative and explore all of life’s positive options.
As part of our curriculum we will be using a variety of workshops that include performing arts, sensitivity and cultural diversity training, team building exercises, creative writing, etiquette and public speaking.
We will challenge the youth to dream big.
